World premiere of James' new piece for winds and brass performed by members of the Chicago Composers Orchestra as part of their Amidst Lush Plantlife concert in Chicago's beautiful Garfield Park Conservatory. James' new work takes its name from a haiku of Basho:

winter solitude
in a world of one color
the sound of wind
